Sometimes, Father Christmas comes early. He may be confused by the change of weather globally. Anyway, Christmas is early this year. Microsoft has announced it’s latest price cut for XBox 360.

Microsoft has just announced it will reduce the price for XBox 360 Premium by $50 to $350. This is inline with the recent price reduction by its top rival Sony which reduced it’s PlayStation 3 to $500. That’s a reduction of 17%

Further to that, both Microsoft and Sony are facing major competition from Nintendo which produces the cheaper Wii.

The price of XBox 360 Core, excluding harddisk, will reduce by $20 to $280. XBox 360 Elite, with 120 GB harddisk, will reduce by $30 to $450.
